Description:
The Makita DBO180Z is a compact and lightweight cordless random orbital sander, designed to be powered by 18V Li-ion LXT batteries (sold separately). Its low-profile design, with a reduced center of gravity, enhances balance and maneuverability, making it ideal for overhead and precision sanding tasks.
Equipped with a user-friendly one-touch electronic switch, the DBO180Z offers three speed settings (low, medium, high), providing orbital speeds of 7,000, 9,500, and 11,000 OPM for versatile sanding performance. The 2.8mm random orbital stroke allows for fast material removal while ensuring a smooth, swirl-free finish.
For improved control and safety, the sander features a pad control system that gradually ramps up pad speed at startup, along with a pad brake that minimizes spin-down time. The dust-sealed switch and bearings enhance the tool's durability, while the efficient through-the-pad dust collection system helps maintain a cleaner workspace.
Additionally, the DBO180Z is compatible with Makita dust extractors without requiring an adapter, making it easy to integrate into your dust management setup.
